Before GravityEight, Wamsley served as founder and CEO of several high growth companies, including K2 Urbancorp, and Campsix, a technology incubator located in San Francisco. Campsix secured $25MM in venture funding and gained national media attention in the The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and Fortune Magazine. Wamsley entered the “startup” world of Silicon Valley in 1995, and soon after founded Adauction.com (later OneMediaPlace.) Adauction.com was the first online media marketplace, secured over $88MM in venture capital, and was later acquired.

Dr. Justin Mager is Co-founder and Medical Director at GravityEight. Dr. Mager is a board certified internist, exercise physiologist, and health strategist who specializes in longevity and preventative medicine. He is also a partner in the Clear Center of Health, an integrative health clinic located in Mill Valley, California.
Sara Frankel | Advisor
Sara Frankel recently joined GravityEight as its Chief Operating Officer. Sara is an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of experience in consumer media companies. She has served as founder and CEO of several Internet startups, including Rosie Hippo, Best Self and iVenturi. In addition, Sara has held senior business development positions at Barnes and Noble, Third Age Media, and PC World Online. She began her professional career as a journalist, working as an editor, feature writer, and documentary producer. She is a board member of the nationally recognized magazine Mother Jones and of Alternet.org. She has a B.A. from Harvard, a M.A. from Cambridge University, and an MBA from Stanford Business School.

Chemdex was one of the most coveted and highly successful IPO’s of the late 1990’s, reaching a market capitalization of over $11 billion dollars.

Jody Sherman is the CEO and Co-Founder of ecomom.com, the leading ecommerce company for healthy families. Prior to ecomom, Jody was the co-founder of Smartcharter, which was sold to the Virgin Group. Jody's background spans ecommerce, digital media, gaming, sales and sales management, and early-stage company building. He has worked for many major brands including PTC, Silicon Graphics, Lycos, NBC, and Virgin. Jody has been an investor in and advisor to internet companies since 1996.

Her experience with GravityEight has opened her eyes to a new field of study, she is now working on her degree for Web Design at Santa Monica College. Beth is the Founder and Medical director of the CLEAR Center of Health. She is a nationally recognized expert and community educator and she empowers patients and trains doctors in Integrative Medicine. Dr. McDougall has organized educational symposia on Integrative Medicine for the allopathic community. For these and other efforts, Dr. McDougall was honored by the American Holistic Medical Association. Trained extensively in both western allopathic medicine and Integrative Medicine, Dr. McDougall has dedicated her career to bridging these two disciplines.

Dr Vines is a Principal Scientist with the Tauri Group, based in Alexandria, VA. He provides senior level consulting and subject matter expertise to some of the largest defense contractors and government agencies in the world. He previously served as a media & communications policy specialist at the National Science Foundation, where he helped NSF Directors develop national policy, collaborated with on-staff senior scientists, and played an instrumental role in how the NSF disseminated information worldwide.

Deirdre has worked in radio and television for 19 years, holding writing, reporting and editing positions at NBC News and ITN in London, KTVU-Channel 2 in Oakland, KQED 88.5 FM, and KRON 4 TV in San Francisco. She has written and produced radio stories for NPR's All Things Considered, Morning Edition, Marketplace, Living On Earth, On the Media, Performance Today, The Infinite Mind, and BBC Outlook.
